After 2 weeks it seems I’ve gone backwards. At least 7 basic environments have been deleted and the idea changed 3 times. Furthermore I found myself in Unreal trying to get proportions right in an environment for the last hour but still nothing came of it. So after going back and looking at why it was going wrong I can safely say that (in my mind) we are working in the wrong order. There’s no way I can model the room without other objects in it that I can use to compare proportions. So instead of working on the room I’ve moved on to the assets and individual parts of the room and plan to make the room after.
